Congratulations to all our crews for their incredi

Congratulations to all our crews for their incredible performances at the Textile Regatta today in Lowell.

The following crews brought home hardware, with a special shout-out to our Men’s Novice 8+ on their first place finish in their first race!

MENS JR 4+, B, 1st place - 2V
MENS JR 4+, B, 3rd place - 3V
WOMENS JR 4+, B, 1st place - 3V
MENS JR NOVICE 8+, 1st place

The team will be competing at the Textile River Re

The team will be competing at the Textile River Regatta this Sunday, October 6, 2024. A popular fall head race on the Merrimack River in Lowell, Massachusetts, the TRR is a 3.5 mile race that includes a variety of sculling and sweep events for all boat classes. Come watch our Novice and Varsity compete together for the first time this fall!

Varsity boats only will be scrimmaging tomorrow against Newton Country Day, Winsor, Narragansett, and the Riverside Juniors. (Boston Latin dropped out, so the scrimmage got a new name: The Head Lamp!). Races go off at 9:55 am!

Over the course of two separate Championship regat

Over the course of two separate Championship regattas, and 33 (!) races in 31.5 hours, it was truly a Historic weekend for CRLS Crew.

New England Interscholastic Rowing Association Championships
For the first time in CRLS History:

ALL 4 Boys Crews Qualified for the Championship Regatta
ALL 8 CRLS Crews Qualified for the Championship Regatta
2 Crews advanced to the Grand Finals (Boys 4V and Boys 3V)
5 Total Crews advanced to a Final (Boys 4V, 3V, 2V, and Girls 2V and 1V)
First CRLS Crew to Finish 1st in a Final (Girls 1V, Petite Final)

The Boys 4V and 3V are ranked 6th in New England among their respective categories
The Girls and Boys 2V are ranked 10th in New England in their respective categories
The Girls 1V is ranked 7th in New England

The Varsity and Novice Girls medaled in all of their 4+ events, earning the Girls Fours Team Points Trophy. Special shout out to the Girls 2nd Novice 4+ for winning Gold in their event, and to the Girls Novice 8+ for crossing the line 1st in their Petite final.

The Boys swept all of their events, earning the Boys Fours Team Points Trophy, the Novice 4+ taking home the 1st Novice 4+ Cup, and the Varsity 4+ taking the Title of STATE CHAMPIONS!!! #letsgofalcons
