We are the Association for the Support of Cambridge Crew (CRLS Crew Parent Board) is organized to provide support for the team at events and to help raise money for team expenses.
Our board consists primarily of parents of active members of the crew team. We manage communication to families, meet monthly with the team coaches to help coordinate team needs such as fundraisers, regatta and race food and transportation, social events and management of the team’s uniforms. Working with the Friends of Cambridge Athletics (FOCA), we raise operating and equipment funds for the crew team. We appreciate the support of the CRLS Athletic Department and our generous community to help us continue to offer the chance to row to any student at CRLS.

You can reach us individually or as a group for questions regarding volunteering, donations and events. If you have a question or communication regarding practices, your child or the team, please reach out directly to the coaches at crls@cambridge-boat-club.org.
We need some subcommittee volunteers:
- Photographer: We are looking for volunteers to take photos during the regattas. The kids row a distance off shore. There are a few bridges at our races that prove to be good vantage points. A good camera with a good lens usually gets the best results. We will set up a Crew cloud storage for the photos. They are nice to share with families and are great for the year book and website.
- Uni and merchandise distribution: A few parents expressed interest in doing this. Please reach out to me if you’d like to do this. If there are others interested, at the beginning and end of the seasons we need to distribute and recollect the uniforms. In the Fall, we open up a team store to sell merchandise. We can connect you with the person who did this in the past if you would like more info.
- Website and social media updates: Update the website that is on WordPress and post on our Instagram site.
