MPSRA – All you need to know for 5/25 (plus livestream link)

MPSRA (Mass Publics) – Sunday – Fall River – Varsity & Novice

The MPSRA buses will leave in 2 SHIFTS!

Bus 1 will leave CBC at 5:45am. Athletes on Bus 1 should be at CBC at 5:30am

Bus 2 will leave CBC at 9:00am. Athletes on Bus 2 should be at CBC at 8:45am.

The following boats must take Bus 1:

Girls 1V

Boys 1V

Girls 1st Novice 4

Boys 1st Novice 4

Boys Novice 2x

All other boats should take Bus 2.

We will be providing breakfast/lunch/snacks for the kids.  If you have volunteered to help with lunch, we will be grilling, so it’s helpful if you know how to grill!

Other helpful info:

Rowers should have extra warm/waterproof clothes and socks, and something to keep them occupied, like a book/homework/cards. Camping hammocks and light camp throws are great if you already own them! All athletes should bring a filled water bottle!

Message from Coach Mary Kay:

All novice girls are expected to race.  Their line ups are listed below with their boats.

 There will be a first bus at 5:45 which will include the boys 2x, the 1V girls, 1V boys 1Novice boys and 1 Novice girls who all have to race time trials in the morning starting at 8:24 to determine which boats go to the Grand Final and which go to the Petite Final.  The rest of the boats go straight to Final so they will be boarding a bus at 9am because their race is at 12:28.

There will be food provided by parents at the race course;  Breakfast  and lunch for everyone.  

Things to remember:  Wear your unisuit  bring water bottle, hat, sunscreen, extra clothes to match the weather and to change out of wet clothes.

You are expected to stay all day…to help assemble/de-rig your boat, assist with other crews equipment (like oars), to be on best behavior because you are representing the CRLS crew team, and to have fun.
