We’ve just finished our 2012 Head of the Charles Regatta.
A huge thank you to our coaches Dale, Matt, Bill, Emily, and Gordon for sharing their time and expertise turning our kids into athletes and rowers. Thank you also for all the arranging and special coordination required by this event.

A huge thank you to Lindsay Frazier for taking on general HOCR event coordination and to Jessica Boyatt and Lisa McManus who helped. More thanks are due all the families who hosted out-of-town rowers for the event, and to the parents and rowers who sold programs and set up fencing. Thank you as well to Mary Ruggiero for providing snacks, coffee, and juice in the back of the boat bay.
It was great to see some returning CRLS rowing alums around the boat bay. At least four of them raced for their colleges this weekend, and some did *very* well!
Our next event is Mass States next Sunday, then comes the Second Annual Pancake Breakfast on 11 November, and after that our end-of-season Potluck on 24 November.
