Winter is a great time to make boats go fast! Everyone did a great job this past fall getting into shape, now it’s time to broaden and deepen that fitness base and build strength. While it’s not required that you work out this winter to come out for spring crew, it’s STRONGLY recommended that you get involved in some from of exercise. Do a CRLS winter sport, something of your own, or one of the boat club programs – but get some friends together and DO SOMETHING!

Basketball, Swimming, Hockey, Track, Gymnastics, Wrestling and Cheerleading are all available.

Other Options for Staying Active
For those not interested in these sports but who want to stay (or get) in shape for spring sports there are the following programs:
- Work independently at the CRLS weight room
The CRLS weight room will be open: M/T/W/TH- 2:45 TO 4PM.
There will be a coach or teacher on site to monitor for safety who you can talk to about how to use the equipment. Students can design their own workouts or work with their coach to get a program of workouts to do. Contact the CRLS athletic department for more information.
- CBC Weekday Junior Winter Training
CBC: Erg centered program with yoga, running, body circuit work run by coach Matt
St. Ann’s: Weight lifting centered program with erging, running, body circuit work run by Coach Dale
Dec. 3 – Feb. 16
5 days / week $300 3:30 – 5:30pm
