What a way to close out our season! In case you couldn’t hear over the cheering and the clanging of medals, our team SWEPT the varsity fours events and came home from the state public school fall rowing championship (MPSRA) with FOUR TROPHIES, including the girls and boys 1V trophies and the girls and boys 4s team trophies! And let’s not forget about our novices! Our boys novice 8+s demolished the field in both the Ist and 2nd races, and our girls novice 4+s placed second in the 1st and 2nd races (the second novice 4 was so fast they would have taken bronze in the first novice race!), with the girls novice 8+ finishing a fast fourth in their race!
So, in summary, a lot of boats raced, a lot of medals were won, FOUR trophies are now proudly displayed in the CRLS trophy case, and we are in great shape for the spring season!
I’m working on the next email with info about this week, but I had to take a moment to congratulate our team. They worked hard and rowed hard, and we are all so proud! Stay tuned for the next update, and in the meantime, head over to our social media and check out the recap!
