Crew is an expensive sport to operate and equip. While the Cambridge School Department covers a portion of the costs, student rowers must raise significant funds to cover each year’s operating expenses. And they have done so for more than a decade.

Over the past 6 years, as our team has grown to more than 80 students. We are one of the few public school teams that do not charge any participation fees but that means our families and students have worked hard to raise money so we could replace our oldest shells, purchase new oars and upgrade our storage racks to make it safer to move shells. A new shell costs from $25K to $45K.  New oars cost $300-$450 per oar.  Cox boxes are $700.  Please consider making a donation to keep our team afloat!
